Chinese Language Week

The coming storm

The Storm was coming soon. They had to gather lots of food and things when it is coming. When we were full of food and things we went to a safe place that cannot be crushed by the Storm. We found a cave but the outside was open so they covered it with a wooden tree. When they were inside they set torches everywhere so they could see where they are going. They had to stay together since there are monsters in caves. While they were in the cave the wooden door was about to open because of the Storm. It opened and everyone had to go down the cave. The Storm would never stop and it was so cold for them. They needed a plan. What they came up with was to try to get on top of the mountains and stop the Storm with hot fire. How they are going to get up there was with a hot air balloon. When they did that they put lots of oil on the top then they put fire on it. Then Kaboom and the Storm stopped. Everyone thought it wasn’t going to work but it actually did work. The sun was warm, and the figure felt the comforting warmth of the sun’s rays as they shone down on Earth.

The Garden of life

While the parrot was nipping her she  could see the whole village travelling there next village. She went down and went to pack her stuff quickly!. She was hungry on the way since they were walking there next village. When they arrived she thought it looked like a  peaceful garden. She could see fountains, flowers. Statues and reindeer's!. She went to look for a spot near this garden but most of the space was taken by the village. So she had to build her house on the grass.

When she had finished building her house she went to set a campfire at the garden. She had marshmallows so she got one and put it in the campfire. When she was tired she went to sleep. The next day outside, she saw a flower dead by the garden. The village saw it to like all the plants are going to die. When they saw the flowers die they went back to their houses. She was gardening the flowers in the garden because she didn’t want the plants to die like the other plant. While she was gardening she was thirsty so she had a drink of water. During the day, everything was peaceful until The storm is coming.

Journey

She had just woken up, she went for a walk in the middle of the night to get some milk. Suddenly she heard a creeping sound in the distance. She held out her lantern and said who’s there. She just saw her but they disappeared just when she saw her. 

She went back to walking and saw the shop. She grabbed her a packet of milk. The lady at the shop said you can have it for free. She said in a thankful way why. The lady said she had so much milk so she’s giving it away for free. When she went back home it was already morning. She had cereal for breakfast and went back to the house. She went to take a Hot Air balloon out because she wanted to see the view. 

When they untied the hot air balloon she could see everything. In the distance she could see the person that was creeping up to her. When she was looking up form there a parrot was looking at her. The parrot landed gracefully on her hand, his claws gently nipping the skin on her index finger because it was hungry.

Wizard of Oz

Today the Kauri team and Puriri Team went to watch the Wizard of Oz musical. We went on Buses since it was in the City. It was held at the Kiri te Kanawa theatre. When all of us were there, we had to stay together just so we don't get lost. I was shocked where we were sitting because we were really high up. My friend Shivish was really scared of height's but it was really good view from there. 

When it had started it looked really cool when the lights were off. The start was cool when they were all holding paper although we couldn't quite see there faces. When they were playing there act I like the Tin man and the lion since before they looked very funny. When a girl named Dorphy spanked the lion, I knew they were not literate because it's a musical act. When they got to Emerald city which they wanted to go to it was the first part of the act. 

They had a short intermission then the act started.

 When it started over again they met the Wizard of Oz. The Wizard of Oz was a person but he couldn't make it to Emerald world so he had a computer that could make him talk over there like a phone. He wanted the Witch's broom then he would give them there wishes. Since he wanted the Witches Broom that means they had to fight the Witch. They tried to find the witch everywhere but they couldn't just find her. She was busy talking to her guards how to get those shoes. They went to the witches lair where she was. When Dorphy went in there she got caught by the witch. They locked her up in a cage. She heard the fairy that helped her to get to  Emerald city said are you okay. Then Dorphy said help me then the with came in and said help me but she didn't even care. The Scarecrow, lion and Tin man saw the witches lair. They sneaked in the witched lair and quickly hid into something because the guards were there.  When they saw the guards they had to hide somewhere every time they don't see them because they have to march everywhere around the witches lair. They got caught then Dorphy saw them and ran to them to see them. Since the witch had got all of them she started with the scarecrow. When the Scarecrow was about to die Dorphy tipped over water on the witch and she died. The guards bowed down to Dorphy because she is their new queen. She wanted the broom and they said you can take it. He took it to the Wizard of Oz and when he was about to grant their wish, the computer was going a little weird. Then Dorphy heard her puppy and with her was the Wizard of Oz. He couldn't do their wishes so he gave them awards for giving him the witches broom. When they all got what they needed, Dorphy went home and said goodbye to her friends on the adventure. But someone accidentally untied the rope and the Wizard of Oz was on there. The girl was happy because she could have their next adventure with her friends. At the end, the fairy was singing a song then the musical show ended.

Field of flames

When she was investigating she and him fallen into the circles. When they had fallen they didn’t get hurt because there was a bounce pad at the bottom. When they were on the bounce pad they saw a door that said entry. They bounced and opened the door. There was a city with lots of people there. They were so busy that when they tried to say hello to them they just ignore it. When they went exploring there was a thing that was called the field of flame event starts in 48 hours. We didn’t know what it means but we went on. We saw lots of graffiti in the train stations but they don’t know why. We went on one of the trains and when it is going to the cities it looked amazing from the train. They tried to find a home but they couldn’t find one so they just lived in the train station. The next day then were ready for their next adventure. Suddenly those guys that tried to take the flower saw them. He didn’t know they were still alive because they were in the gas. They ran as fast as they can and hide somewhere else. When they were gone they want to get some food. It was their first time when they got food from a store so they got it all free!. When they got there shopping they went to eat. At night time they were exploring and looking at newspaper and events happening!. The next day they had disgusting clothes so they got ones for free at a shop. When they tried them on they liked there new outfits. At night time again they went to see the field of flames event. It looked so beautiful. Those people that tried to get the flower were got sucked into a portal of misbehaviour. When they got sucked in the portal the girl and him got a torch and lighted the way with the others. Keeping each lantern alive was imperative.

The Tunnel

When he was just there he didn’t know what to do. When he was thinking of something the clock came back then it got him into another place. He was at a forest that was too quiet that he got a stick. When he had the stick there was no animals. So he put the stick down and went to explore. While he was exploring he found some bread in the middle of nowhere, so he took a bite. When he had just took a bite the flower needed gardening. He tried to find water and he saw a river. He didn’t have a pot so he had to use his pockets. When he watered the flower it bloomed a lot. While the flower was blooming a lot he saw a girl alone scared. He said to her are you okay?. She didn’t want to say anything because she thought it was a stranger but he is not a stranger. When she was scared it looked like a tunnel to like a forest or something. He could see the end of the tunnel but it was a tree tunnel. He said to himself did someone build this tree tunnel by themselves or is it just and ordinary tunnel?. When he went in it the girl was right by him like there's something at the end of the tunnel that is a predator or someone. When he and that girl got to the end of that tree tunnel it looked so beautiful. They could see the birds chirping and lots of animals playing around like there having fun!. But while they were looking at the animals they saw circles. The girl let out a gasp, and walked towards the circles to investigate…….

Hope

He had just woken up. He was awake early for his gardening, his work every day he does at his house.When he just started doing everything he saw a flower outside his door. It looked extraordinary. He just putted it in one of his Peanut butter Jars. He went back to doing his chores. He went for a walk to take a break. He was hiking and walking then suddenly he saw with his own eyes, someone sneaking into his house!.He didn’t know why but he ran there as fast as he could!.Those people were there to steal that flower. He grabbed the flower before they couldn’t even get it!.He runned as fast as he can and they were gone. He wish that he could go back . They were sitting at a bench all alone. Despite everything, he still had hope for the future….
