SLJ Video and fishing false teeth slides

This is my SLJ video. It's about fishing false teeth which is a article and you get to make your own comic about a video in the slides. In the video I said the slides would be here too so they are here at the bottom of this blog post. I hope you like viewing my video and my slides and bye!.

  1. Kia Ora Titan,

It’s Charlotte here, a commenter from the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. WOW, you have done so much work on this activity!

I think that it is super cool that you included both a video and a slideshow about the work that you completed, I am very impressed with your work and I thought that your comic strip was quite funny, I like the part where the man had try on the dentures again after they had already been in the fish's mouth!

I am glad that you had such a great time making the comic strip! I think that this is such a fantastic activity because I love comics. I think that they are so cool! Do you read comics?

  2. Thanks Charlotte for your comment. I do read comic strips and it took me quite a bit to finish the slides and the video. Since you think that comic strips are so cool, do you have a favourite one?.
    Blog you later,
    Titan.

    1. Kia Ora Titan,

I do have favourite comics! My favourite is probably the comics from the X-Men series - These have also been made into movies, have you heard of them? What is your favourite comic?
I did notice that you put a lot effort into the slides and your video, and this is why I marked your post down as an 'outstanding post' which means that you will be getting extra points for this task.

  3. Ka pai Titan. Again, great use of video to explain the task. I like your choice of captions to go with the images. Maybe the lesson of the video is don't laugh at other people because you never know when the same thing might happen to you! What do you think?

  4. Kia ora Titan,

Ka pai on the amount of effort you have put into this blogpost! I really like the video you included in the beginning, and appreciate how in-depth you went whilst explaining the steps taken in order to complete this activity.

It’s a bit of a funny story to learn about really; I couldn’t imagine finding a pair of false teeth inside of a fish!

If you were out fishing and found a pair of false teeth, how do you think you would react?

I think you have done an outstanding job creating this comic, and I really like the way you even included the stage cue of the rumble from the sea. This was a fantastic idea which helped emphasise the action of the fish being caught, so well done on going above and beyond with your comic!
What was your favourite part of this activity?

What part did you find the hardest and why?

Do you think you will ever have a go at making a comic again?

It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!

    Keep up the awesome blogging!
    Nga mihi
